Histone acetylation and gene regulation?

On wikipedia, saying that "research has emerged" is akin to saying, "someone somewhere is claiming that", so I really wouldn't worry about it. Even in a few years down the road that claim was backed up by more evidence than an un-cited wikipedia, that doesn't mean that the current theory about histone acetylation isn't true, and as is often the case in biology, those two processes could work in conjunction with one another. To be safe, you could always check up on google scholar? But if you have a recent textbook, I would say that's the way to go.
