Is my tongue ring infected?

I got my tongue peirced on friday and its now wednesday. The ball is like setting into my tongue so my tongue has a huge indent where the ball is. my tongue is still swollen and there is puss coming out of the hole? the hole is also really red and looks like the ball has been rubbing it raw. my whole tongue doesnt hurt, its just around the whole and some of my taste buds are swollen so my tongue is a little sensative. Is it infected or is it still healing?
